I had so much fun with all of these sisters. I never had sisters growing up, but I would think that if I did that we would have been this close. In this sweet family is a set of twins and 2 other big sisters. Mom and Dad are busy wrangling these adorable foursome on a daily basis and I had a blast trying out my props. This is one of the free sessions I booked – and it was a perfect day for a session! So fun!

So….this is one of the free sessions I booked recently. I didn’t feel it was fare to my clients to pay for a session when I was totally in control of what they were allowed to do for the session and what venue they could choose. I also have wanted to bring my own props for the longest time to sessions but always felt funny about incorporating them into the session. But I found a way around it. Book some FREE SESSIONS! So after a few weeks of shopping for this chair on Craigslist I was ready to set up the sessions. Surprisingly – being in ‘full control’ of the session felt much more relaxed for me AND the family as you can see the comment below from the client.

However, I feel as a photographer – you have to hear and listen to what the clients are saying in order to deliver what they want. So being in ‘full control’ won’t happen very often – but it was sure fun to experiment! From now I have decided to ask when booking the session, if I can be in control of  the session or at least take a few minutes at the end of the session, for a few shots I would like to take.

That said…this was such a fun session I had last night with Holden and Katie. They were so fun to work with and it made the hour and half time go so fast. We didn’t realize the time till we noticed we were running out of light. Thanks for letting me tell you what to do the entire time guys! Hope you enjoy your peek Tina and Kiddos!
